The Town of Milton is resuming the Committee of Adjustment and Consent (COA) meetings in person as of January 26, 2023.  Applicants and interested parties can participate in person at Town Hall, Council Chambers, 150 Mary Street. 


Minor Variances are being requested to facilitate the construction of a two-storey home with an attached garage, with covered porches in both the front and rear yards. There is also a sunken patio proposed in the rear yard. 

A Minor Variance is being requested to seek relief from the Maximum Permitted Lot coverage to accommodate the construction of an attached sunroom, measuring 26.48 square metres, in the rear yard.

Minor Variances are being requested to allow for a decrease in the Residential Driveway Width as well as a decrease to the Interior Side Yard Setback in order to facilitate the construction of an Additional Residential Unit. The applicant is proposing to provide one parking space in the garage and two parking spaces on the driveway. 

Minor Variances are being requested pertaining to the Maximum Lot Coverage, the Minimum Front Yard Setback, the Minimum Interior Side Yard, and the Minimum Setback from the Dwelling face to an attached carport. The applicant is proposing an addition to the existing structure to accommodate two Additional Dwelling Units (ADU).

Minor Variances are being requested to allow for a balcony in the Interior Side Yard and to permit an Additional Dwelling Unit with a Gross Floor Area of 133.6 square metres. The applicant is proposing to construct a two-storey dwelling while retaining and converting the existing dwelling to an accessory unit. 

Minor Variances are being requested to facilitate the construction of three (3) new commercial buildings at the Subject Lands, generally located at the north-east corner of Main Street East and James Snow Parkway. The development is being reviewed through a concurrent Site Plan Application (file SP-06/24). During the final stages of the application, new municipal addresses will be assigned to the proposed buildings.
