  • THAT report CORS-050-22 covering the capital and operating financial statements as at April 30, 2022, be received for information.

  • THAT Council approve the budget amendments and related funding sources as outlined on Schedule A;

    THAT Council approve the award of Tender 22-01-00500 for the Pond 10 Rehabilitation and Sediment Removal Project to 2220742 Ontario Ltd. o/a Bronte Construction, in the amount of $1,006,586 (exclusive of taxes), as outlined in Schedule B

    THAT Council approve the contract extension and contract increase for the additional underground infrastructure locating services to Peninsula Video & Sound Inc., in the total amount of $15,000 (exclusive of taxes), as outlined in Schedule C;

    THAT Council approve the contract increase for consulting services for the design of Fifth Line (Hwy. 401 to Derry Road) to WSP Canada Inc., in the total amount of $326,360 (exclusive of taxes), as outlined in Schedule D;

    THAT Council approve the contract increase for services for the design of Main Street East (James Snow Parkway to Fifth Line) to WSP Canada Inc., in the total amount of $37,943 (exclusive of taxes), as outlined in Schedule E;

    THAT the Manager, Purchasing and Risk Management be authorized to execute the contract(s), as outlined by the purchasing by-law, and the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to sign any required paperwork.

  • THAT Report DS-051-22 entitled “Authorization for Submission of a Minor Variance Application on lands municipally known as 73 King Street.”, dated June 20, 2022, be received;

     

    AND THAT in accordance with the provisions of subsections 45(1.4) of the Planning Act; R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, the Owner shall through this Resolution, be permitted to apply to the Committee of Adjustment for a variance from the provisions of Zoning By-law 081-2020, before the second anniversary of the day on which the by-law was approved by Council.

  • THAT Report DS-050-22 entitled “Authorization for Submission of a Minor Variance Application on lands municipally known as 66 Mill Street.”, dated June 20, 2022, be received;

     

    AND THAT in accordance with the provisions of subsections 45(1.4) of the Planning Act; R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, the Owner shall through this Resolution, be permitted to apply to the Committee of Adjustment for a variance from the provisions of Zoning By-law 081-2020, before the second anniversary of the day on which the by-law was approved by Council.

  • THAT Report DS-052-22 entitled “Authorization for Submission of a Minor Variance Application on lands municipally known as 792 Secord Street.”, dated June 20, 2022, be received;

     

    AND THAT in accordance with the provisions of subsections 45(1.4) of the Planning Act; R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, the Owner shall through this Resolution, be permitted to apply to the Committee of Adjustment for a variance from the provisions of Zoning By-law 007-2022, before the second anniversary of the day on which the by-law was approved by Council.

  • THAT Report DS-058-22 entitled “Authorization for Submission of a Minor Variance Application on lands municipally known as 420 Kingsleigh Court, Milton”, dated June 20, 2022 be received;

    AND THAT in accordance with the provisions of subsection 45(1.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, the Owner shall through this Resolution be permitted to apply to the Committee of Adjustment for a variance from the provisions of Zoning By-law 077-2021, before the second anniversary of the day on which the by-law was approved by Council.

Milton Council will convene into confidential session to discuss proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land in regards to two items: Ongoing Property Management Strategy and Fifth Line Expropriation; and to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees in respect to 2022 Milton Sports Hall of Fame Inductees.
